Photo and Artwork Consent
When you book a Vitium Lab sample, we photograph you or accept your company logo to produce a personalized 200 × 200 mm surface sample. This page explains exactly what that involves. It supplements our Privacy Policy, where Veneto Technology is identified as data controller.
Four separate consents — never bundled, never pre-selected
At booking, you are asked to tick up to four boxes, each covering a different use:
- Processing consent (required) — permission to use your photograph or uploaded logo solely to produce your sample. Without this, we cannot create your sample.
- Age / guardian confirmation (required) — confirmation that the person photographed is 18 or over, or that appropriate parent/guardian authorization has been obtained.
- Publication consent (optional) — permission for us to photograph or film your Vitium Lab visit and publish selected content on our communication channels.
- Marketing consent (optional) — permission to send you Vitium news and commercial communications.
Declining the optional consents does not affect your ability to book a sample — only the required processing consent and age confirmation are mandatory.
How your photo or logo is used
- Your image is prepared and printed onto your physical sample by our on-site team at Hall 2 — Stand C7.
- We do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification.
- We do not use your photograph to train AI models.
- We do not send your image to third parties beyond the hosting and database providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and never for a purpose beyond producing and supporting your sample.
- Uploaded files are stored privately and are never publicly indexed or searchable.
How long we keep it
Source portraits and uploaded logo/artwork files are deleted 30 days after the event by default, unless you tick the optional box authorizing us to retain the processed artwork for future sample or project discussions.
Minors
We do not accept portrait processing for a minor without verified consent from a parent or legal guardian. The age/guardian confirmation checkbox at booking is mandatory for this reason.
Withdrawing consent or requesting deletion
You may withdraw any consent, or request deletion of your photograph or uploaded artwork, at any time by writing to sales2@veneto-technology.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out — for example, a sample already produced before you withdraw consent.
