1. Who we are

This website (the "Site") and the events, bookings and registrations described on it are operated by:

Veneto Technologyis the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

2. What we collect, and why

Depending on which form you use, we collect:

  • Contact and professional details — first name, last name, company, country and email — when you request a private session, book a Vitium Lab sample, or register for a live event or the virtual stand.
  • Photographs and/or a company logo file — when you book a Vitium Lab sample, for the sole purpose of producing your personalized 200 × 200 mm sample.
  • Technical and usage data — such as UTM campaign parameters and, only if you accept analytics/marketing cookies, analytics and advertising identifiers.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this Site and process bookings, acting as our data processors:

Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the EU-approved Standard Contractual Clauses that provider has in place, as noted above.

4. Photographs and uploaded artwork

Photo/artwork processing consent, publication consent, marketing consent and extended-retention consent are collected as separate checkboxes and are never pre-selected. We do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification, and we do not use your photograph to train AI models. See our Photo Consent page for full detail.

5. How long we keep it

  • Source portraits and uploaded logo/artwork files: deleted 30 days after the event, unless you grant explicit permission for longer retention.
  • Booking and contact records (name, company, country, email): kept for up to 24 months after Marmomac 2026 for commercial follow-up, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is earlier.
  • Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. for accounting) are retained for the period required by applicable law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • Request restriction of processing;
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • Receive your data in a portable format;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, Italy), or with the supervisory authority of your own EU member state, at https://www.garanteprivacy.it.
